6th Annual Golf Outing

       The Buckeye Education Foundation sponsored its 5th annual golf outing on Saturday, August 21, 2010. The event was held at Shale Creek Golf Course. A good time was had by all who attended.

5rd  Annual Golf Outing Nets $10,000

       Eleven teams enjoyed a fine fall day of golfing at Shale Creek Golf Course in Abbeyville in the Foundation’s third golf outing benefit. The September 29 event included an excellent steak dinner and the opportunity to bid on various items donated by local businesses and restaurants.
    Posting a -9, Team MTD won the outing and generously donated back to the Foundation their cash prize.
      Transitional Living Center was the tournament sponsor.  Education Sponsors were M.T.D., Three D Metals, Inc.; and Wolff Brothers Supply, Inc.   
            The annual golf outing provides major funding for the many projects supported by the Foundation. The other funding comes in the form of gifts from individuals and businesses who wish to support the educational programs at Buckeye. All funds are used to enrich and enhance the educational experience of all Buckeye students through staff innovation grants and special projects.
